PRESQUE ISLE, ME – October 10, 2014, Wintergreen Arts Center received a generous donation from Machias Savings Bank for their After School Arts program.
Wintergreen Arts Center works diligently to offer quality arts enrichment for Presque Isle and the surrounding area. The generous donation by Machias Savings Bank will go toward the Wintergreen After School Arts program.
The program offers art classes to students, K-8 during the course of the school year. Each of the five 6-week theme-based sessions allows students to become immersed in the arts. Students are introduced to artists, art history, and art theory, learning new techniques and mediums while developing creative problem solving skills and building self-confidence.
