PRESQUE ISLE, Maine—The WINTERGREEN EXPRESS is coming back to Presque Isle on December 13 & 14, 2024.
Tickets go on sale Tuesday, November 12, at 12:00 NOON. Tickets will be available online at www.wintergreenarts.org (please click on WINTERGREEN EXPRESS Tickets).
“Please mark your calendars now because Molly the Trolley and MSAD#1’s Big Blue will be taking families on the magical ride again this year,” said Gretchen Violette, Wintergreen’s events director.
Join a joyful cast of characters for this very special holiday visit to the North Pole where Santa’s Elves serve hot cocoa, sing, and talk with all the boys and girls. Families will have fun decorating and eating delicious sugar cookies and visiting with Santa Claus. Little ones get a souvenir jingle bell to take home too!
Families board their magical ride to the North Pole at the Sargent Family Community Center.
Roundtrip tickets are $15 each. Everyone needs a ticket to ride. All children must be accompanied by at least one ticketed adult. Wee ones, 12-months-old and younger ride free. Upon purchase, ticket holders receive an email receipt indicating the date and time of their ticket(s) to the North Pole.
Gretchen added, “Sincere thanks to our community partners and dozens of volunteers who make this holiday tradition so special for all to enjoy.”
