PRESQUE ISLE, Maine—The WINTERGREEN EXPRESS is coming back to Presque Isle on December 9 & 10, 2022.
“We are excited to announce the following local businesses as our 2022 WINTERGREEN EXPRESS sponsors,” said Gretchen Violette, Wintergreen’s events coordinator. “Falcon Transportation, LLC, is our lead sponsor and Toy Transport for the North Pole; Katahdin Trust Company is our Candy Exchange Bank; and Porter Farms, LLC, is supplying Reindeer Feed for our Reindeer Barn; and Save-A-Lot is our Cookie Sponsor.”
Gretchen added, “We are extremely grateful for these community-minded businesses, as well as the Presque Isle Rec Center for providing our Trolley Station, and the dozens and dozens of volunteers who help make the WINTERGREEN EXPRESS a magical event for youngsters from across Aroostook County.”

“We’re also running two trolleys this year, Red Trolley and Green Trolley,” said Gretchen. “With our new space at the Aroostook Centre Mall, we can welcome more guests to the North Pole. Friends just need to coordinate their time and trolley choices to ride together.”
Please join the Wintergreen Arts Center for this very special holiday visit to the North Pole where Santa’s Elves serve hot cocoa, sing, and talk with all the boys and girls. Families will have fun decorating and eating sugar cookies and visiting with Santa Claus. Little ones get a souvenir jingle bell to take home too!
Families board their magical ride to the North Pole at the Sargent Family Community Center for $15 per roundtrip ticket.
Everyone needs a ticket to ride. All children must be accompanied by at least one ticketed adult. Wee ones, 12-months-old and younger ride free.
Upon purchase, ticket holders receive an email receipt indicating the date and time of their ticket(s) to the North Pole.
