The Wintergreen Arts Center will take part in the Presque Isle Rotary Club’s 13th Annual Art Auction as part of the larger Radio & TV auction. New this year, Wintergreen will be focused around a “CHAIR-ity” theme, with local artists taking chairs of all sizes and materials and transforming them into works of art. All chairs will be “fun, functional, and artistic.” To give community members a chance to preview the work, Wintergreen will host an Artist Reception during the First Friday Downtown Art Walk on Nov. 6, 2015, at 6 p.m. All are encouraged to come and enjoy the many chairs that will remain on display for the entire month of November before being featured and sold in the Radio & TV Auction. All proceeds from the art items will be going to Wintergreen Arts Center.
